I enjoy working with members from all fitness backgrounds to help them discover or rediscover the benefits and joy of healthy movement. For those new to fitness, we define goals, learn how to exercise effectively to meet those goals and how to develop a long-term, sustainable approach to health. I work most extensively with members who compete in sport. We work together to develop training plans to improve their athletic performance, complement their competitive schedule and prioritize recovery to avoid common overuse injuries. Ultimately, I strive to help my clients create healthy habits for a lifetime.

My goal as a trainer is to help make your movement more efficient for whatever it is you enjoy doing. Whether that is competing at a high level in tennis, or being able to carry your child without your back hurting, learning proper movement patterns can enable you to do all the things you love better. It is also essential for staying healthy and pain free.
Some accomplishments I have helped clients achieve:
- First ever bodyweight pull up
- Winning a 4.5 level tennis tournament
- Hiking the John Muir trail
- Running a sub-7-minute mile
Qualifications
- BS in Kinesiology from Cal State Eastbay
- ACE, XPS, XFS and TRX certified.
My background: Over 10 years of teaching movement: I have done personal training, group training, corporate fitness training, and tennis and soccer coaching, as well as teaching middle school P.E.
I played just about every sport growing up; soccer, basketball, football, and baseball, but I have a special love for boxing and tennis. I competed for many years as an amateur boxer while I was a teenager and got into tennis in my early 20's. I was able to reach the 5.0 tennis level before choosing to slow down on competing when my daughter was born.

Diana De Gracia, M.A.
My love for movement began when I started dancing at the age of 3 ½. I danced through my youth and was involved in running and fitness in early adulthood. I became an educator and taught for many years and was Director of Comprehensive School Health in a large bay area school district. During this time, beginning in the early 80’s, I also started teaching a variety of aerobic and fitness classes. I hold many certifications in different fitness formats. I currently teach Zumba, Yoga, Chair Exercises, Senior Fitness and provide private lessons.
My philosophy is that staying healthy and fit should be part of your life and finding something that you truly love doing is the key to maintaining a fitness routine.
What brings me happiness is teaching, dancing, hiking, cooking, sharing and laughing.
